OUR BELIEFS

The Bible - The Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, are the inspired Word of God without error in the original writings, and are the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men, and the divine and final authority for all Christian faith and life.

God - There is one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect, and eternally indivisibly existing as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

The Heavenly Father- YHWH. God all mighty is the omnipotent, omniscient,  author and king of all that exists within and without the universe.  He is seated on the throne in the heavens and is absolutely HOLY.

Jesus Christ - Jesus Christ is true God.  He existed as the preincarnate WORD of God.  This WORD became flesh, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary.  He died on the cross as the perfect Lamb of God, the complete and final sacrifice for our sins according to the Scriptures.  Further, He arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, where, at the right hand of the Majesty on High, He is now our High Priest and Advocate.

The Holy Spirit - The ministry of the omnipresent Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ and during this age, to convict men of sin, regenerate the believing sinner, indwell, guide, instruct, and empower the believer for godly living and service.

Man - Man was created in the image of God but fell into sin and is therefore lost, and only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit, salvation can spiritual life be obtained.

Salvation - The shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection provide the only grounds for justification and salvation for all who believe.  Only such as receive Jesus Christ by faith and repent of their sins are made righteous and born of the Holy Spirit and thus by God's amazing grace become children of God.

The Return of Jesus Christ - The personal, and imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ is our hope and has a vital bearing on the personal life and service of the believer.

Future Events - There will be a bodily resurrection of all the dead; of the righteous to everlasting blessedness and joy with the Lord, and of the unrighteous to judgment and everlasting conscious punishment.

The Church - The true Church is composed of all such persons, who through saving faith in Jesus Christ, have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit and are united together in the body of Christ of which He is the head.

Baptism and Communion - Water baptism by immersion soon after accepting Christ as personal Savior, is a testimony of death to sin and resurrection to a new life. The Lord's Supper is a memorial service setting forth in sacred and symbolic manner the death of the Lord Jesus Christ; all true believers and only believers should share in it.

Love and Holiness - The life of the child of God should reflect the two main attributes :  The agape love of God, first towards God in our adoration and service to Him with all our hearts, soul and mind; secondly through our service to all people.  Our lives should also be a reflection of purity from the corruption of this world by the renewing of our minds by the tranforming power of the Word of God. "For without Holiness no man shall see the LORD".

Soul Winning - Every child of God is called to give witness and testimony of the life changing power of Jesus Christ as a hope that lost will come to experience the blessed hope of salvation that comes from having Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

We believe in God, the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.

We believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried;
He descended into hell.
On the third day he rose again;
He ascended into heaven,
He is seated at the right hand of the Father,
and he will come to judge the living and the dead.

We believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic and apostolic Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen.
